“You don’t have to know a lot of things for your life to make a lasting difference in the world. But you do have to know the few great things that matter, perhaps just one, and then be willing to live for them and die for them. The people that make a durable difference in the world are not the people who have mastered many things, but who have been mastered by one great thing.” – John Piper

Meet Plan Go

Submitted by on June 5, 2010 – 10:19 pm5 Comments

On September 14th there will be travelers, dreamers, and motivators nationwide giving advice, tips, and insight on how to take the plunge and plan that trip you have been talking about for years! Meet Plan Go is a free event that will be the talk in all major cities across the US. I am ecstatic to be a co-host for the Dallas Meet Plan Go Event with Marc and Danielle from 4 Suitcases!

Start the climb to planning your journey!

What made you decide to go? How did you plan? How did you choose your destination? How did you find an ESL position? Did you speak the language? The list of questions go on and on when I would tell people I had just returned from living and working for a year in Chile.

It seems as though people fail to begin their planning, because they are unaware of where to begin or who to reach out to for advice. So, when the opportunity arose  to be a part of the Meet Plan Go event organized by  the ladies at Briefcase to Backpack , I was ready to jump right in!

The Meet Plan Go event will be an opportunity to speak with fellow travelers, that can offer advice and insight on how to get going!  We’ve officially started the planning for the local event, and want to make it great!

Would you like to participate as a speaker? as a sponsor? as an inquiring mind?

What questions would you like to have answered?

What obstacles do you need help overcoming in order to make your own career break or world travel adventure a reality?

Help spread the word as well! If you’re on Facebook, join the Meet Plan Go Fan Page.

And if you’re in the Dallas area, sign up for alerts and stay tuned for more details.
