Rahab’s Rope  is my volunteer project in India starting January 2012. Rahab’s Rope gives hope and opportunity to women and girls that have been forced into the commercial sex trade of India. Their work provides basic education and vocational training for each girl and woman who come through their centers; ultimately, allowing them to integrate into their communities in a positive and constructive manner.

Rahab Rope’s Mission: The mission of Rahab’s Rope is to give hope and opportunity to women and girls that have been forced into the commercial sex trade of India. We provide a safe and loving environment that will enable them to grow and develop both physically and spiritually.

Rahab’s Rope also has an online store which is a shop to stop Human Trafficking and help support the organization directly through the sales of the products handmade by women in their various programs.

There are many ways to get involved with Rahab’s Rope and to help stop Human Trafficking in many of the regions of India. Here are some useful links below:

Due to the nature and sensitivity of the work we will be doing with the women in India there are only certain things I will be able to share. However, if a volunteer opportunity with Rahab’s Rope interests you be sure and click on over to their volunteer blog to get insight into a day in the life of a volunteer with Rahab’s Rope.
